Membership

We are a traditional but progressive Private Members Club, where you will be assured of a warm welcome.  We have almost 700 members, made up of Men, Ladies, Intermediates, and Juniors and under current guidelines advance bookings are compulsory.  There is a dedicated day for visiting parties and visitors are only able to book 2-weeks in advance.

We pride ourselves on the quality of our course. It is most challenging, whilst at the same time being a glowing tribute to the Cheshire countryside. As the Club's name indicates, the course subsoil is sand and hence drainage is excellent, allowing year round golfing in excellent conditions.

We are, without doubt, one of the top two golf courses in the County and as such is dedicated to competitive golf having staged numerous international, national and regional championships. This is reflected in the number of Category One golfers at the Club and the size and strength of the Junior Section, which begins from the age of eight.
