Heritage Reimagined

Established in 1926 with the support of Brunner Mond and Company, the Sandiway Clubhouse was designed to echo the timeless aesthetic of a traditional Cheshire manor. While the club has evolved to meet the demands of the modern game, we have meticulously preserved its original character. It remains, above all else, a Clubhouse for golfers.

Beyond our premium locker and changing facilities, the Clubhouse offers a seamless flow of open-access spaces. This includes two sophisticated bar lounges and two first-floor dining rooms, all of which have been recently refurbished to provide a contemporary finish that honors our historic roots.

Dining

At Sandiway, the dining experience is as central to the day as the golf itself. Our kitchen focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to create a menu that balances classic club favorites with contemporary flair. Whether it is a post-round lunch or a formal dinner, the emphasis is on quality.

The Cellar & Bar

Our bar is a sanctuary for those who appreciate a well-kept cellar. We take particular pride in our selection of cask-conditioned ales, curated fine wines, and premium spirits. It is the perfect environment to reflect on the day's play, supported by a service that is attentive yet unobtrusive.

Hours of Service

The bar service at Sandiway evolves with the seasons, ensuring the clubhouse remains a welcoming retreat from the first light of summer until the shorter days of winter.

  • Peak Summer (May – August) | 10:00am — 10:00pm

  • Spring (April) | 10:00am — 9:00pm

  • Autumn (September – October) | 10:00am — 8:00pm

  • Winter (November – March) | 10:00am — 6:00pm

Catering

Our kitchen provides a full service daily, offering everything from traditional golfers' breakfasts to refined afternoon dining.

  • Summer Service | 10:00am — 5:00pm

  • Winter Service | 10:00am — 4:00pm

  • Competition Days | Breakfast service commences from 9:00am

Note: For societies and championship events, extended catering hours and bespoke menus are available by prior arrangement with the House Manager.
